A dedicated and loyal team of experienced nurses provide the nursing service for the inpatient wards and the day care unit. The team is lead by the Matron who is a highly experienced palliative care nurse who has been with the Hospice since the inpatient service opened. Following a Staff Review Exercise undertaken in 2001 the nurse staffing and skill mix complement have been adjusted to comply with current recommended levels.
