| Clinical_Admission Policy |
| The
Hospice operates a planned admission policy. The clinical palliative
care MDT have input into the planning of patient admissions and assist
in assessing priorities. A similar admission policy operates for the
Day care Unit. Patients
may be admitted at any stage during their illness for appropriate
treatment and support. Admission may be for symptom control, rehabilitation
and convalescence following hospital treatment, or care during the terminal stage of illness. |
